The traveler is responsible for having a valid ticket throughout the journey.

This includes the following:

  • Valid Troms Billett must be purchased and activated prior to boarding.
  • Troms Billett users must have sufficient battery capacity on the phone as long as the journey lasts, so that valid ticket can be presented on inspection. Phone without power is invalid ticket.

Refunds on period tickets

An activated period ticket purchased with the Troms Billett app cannot be stopped and therefore is unrefundable. The customer is responsible for buying the correct ticket type.

Refunds on single tickets

If errors can be detected by the telecom operator or if the application causes you to buy more tickets, the tickets are refunded. Contact the Troms fylkestrafikks customer center either via telephone +47 177, www.tromskortet.no or in person at one of our customer centers.

Refunds on purchased tickets

Tickets purchased with Troms Billett (both single ticket and period ticket) are activated at the moment of purchase, unless you have set a later start time for the validity of the ticket.

Mobile data network

Using the mobile application requires the use of mobile data networks (3G / 4G). Lack of access to mobile data will mean that tickets cannot be purchased with the application.

Transfer tickets for bus

Troms Billett tickets for bus can be used for free transfer within the zone the ticket was purchased for. The transfer time is equal to the validity shown by Troms Billett.
In addition, Troms Billett does not provide a transfer deduction.
If the ticket expires before the journey ends, you do not need to purchase a new ticket as long as the ticket was valid when you boarded.

Tickets for Lyngen-Ullsfjord

When purchasing a Troms Billett ticket, you must contact the ticket office / ticket office without delay so that the ticket is registered in the ticket system.

A ticket inspector may require to see a valid ticket at any time during the journey.

Both the ticket inspector or other personnel may require to see a valid ticket at any time during the journey.
